Mumbai-based online geolocated fashion directory and marketplace, Fashionablyin, has raised an undisclosed amount of angel round funding led by Ranjan Mahtani – the Epic Group chairman. The raised capital will be used for enhancing the technology and bring the product to a wider audience.
Fashionablyin was founded by Tarun Thadani that collects the data of suppliers, digitise their catalogs and helps them getting live on the Fashoinablyin portal. The startup aims to bridge the offline-online gap by creating a simple platform for fashion trade.
Speaking on the development, Tarun Thadani said “Fashionablyin has an intuitive #CPQrating system based on credibility, price and quality. It connects everyone in the fashion industry, using geolocation and its free.”
Besides, the platform also provides a marketplace for secure fashion goods transactions and personalised product development services for designers.
Currently, it’s app is only available for the Android platform while the iOS version will be launched in few weeks.
