Vserv Hires Ramachandran As Sales Head
Vserv has appointed former Google India executive Nadeesh Ramachandran as vice president of sales. Ramachandran would be responsible for driving Vserv’s sales efforts across India and Southeast Asia. Ramachandran was heading the retail, QSR and real estate verticals for Google India, before joining Vserv.

Balaji Telefilms Ltd has appointed Nachiket Pantvaidya as the CEO of ALT Digital Media Entertainment Ltd. Pantvaidya will be responsible for the company’s content, marketing, distribution and revenues before the launch of its services in 2016. Prior to this appointment, Pantvaidya served as the business head of Sony Entertainment Television and Star Plus, head of Star Pravah and managing director of Fox Television Studios. He also worked in senior management positions at BBC and Disney.

Paytm’s co-founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma has joined Little Internet’s board as the Director. Vijay Shekhar Sharma’s association with the Little app will pitch Paytm as a hyper-local deals discovery platform for customers providing a significant sales channel for merchants.

NDTV announced Sachin Singhal as the CEO of Special Occasion Limited. Sachin’s 10 years experience in key startups in the country will be instrumental in setting and scaling Special Occasions. He has earlier worked with brands like naaptol.com, and letsbuy.com among others. Sachin is a technology entrepreneur and started his career with Tata consultancy services.
